Planning & Scheduling Manager – General Construction

About the role

The Planning & Scheduling Manager will lead planning and scheduling activities across multiple large‑scale construction projects and programs. This senior position combines strategic scheduling expertise with leadership to drive project performance from pre‑construction through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling efforts across multiple projects and large‑scale construction programs.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules in line with company standards and project objectives.
• Identify scheduling risks and create proactive mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Partner with project teams to improve schedule performance and protect critical milestones.
• Coordinate planning activities with operations, engineering, project management, and field leadership.
• Mentor and develop scheduling professionals, promoting consistent methodologies and best practices.
• Support company‑wide training initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and project controls.
• Collaborate with business development and pre‑construction teams on pursuit schedules and risk evaluation.
• Drive continuous improvement of scheduling processes, technology, and operational efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership to ensure successful project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience with significant responsibility for planning and scheduling functions.
