Planning Analyst

About the role

SKIMS is looking for a Planning Analyst to support inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning across its global apparel brand. The role combines data‑driven analysis with cross‑functional collaboration to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze sell‑through data, and recommend actions to optimize turnover and reduce holding costs.
• Apply advanced data‑analysis techniques to uncover insights and drive supply‑chain efficiency.
• Create regular reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators for planning and inventory.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and partner teams.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Design, and Production to align planning activities with overall business goals.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and stay current on industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in demand forecasting, retail merchandising, inventory management, or supply‑chain planning, preferably in fashion or retail.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
