Piping Construction Manager

About the role

Bilfinger Industrial Services Inc. is seeking a self‑motivated Piping Construction Manager for its Alexandria, LA site. The role involves detailed planning, estimating and scheduling of mechanical and process piping projects, ensuring safety, cost, schedule and quality targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review engineering information packages for constructability and completeness.
• Integrate multiple engineering packages and develop construction plans and field deliverables.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial construction projects, focusing on mechanical and process piping scopes.
• Maintain engineering and drawing files, develop material take‑offs and write requisitions.
• Interface directly with owners, engineers and contractors, managing subcontractor bids and performance.
• Coordinate construction resources across projects to improve efficiency.
• Read and interpret construction specifications and manage change orders.
• Utilise computer scheduling tools to plan and track project progress.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of piping/mechanical estimating experience.
• Working knowledge of industry systems and programs used in construction estimating.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
