About the role

The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide routine patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist at the Kings Hwy location. This role involves delivering prescribed treatments, documenting progress, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the physician under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Document patient progress, maintain records, and communicate any changes in patient status to the therapist.
  • Participate in staff and committee projects and achieve productivity targets set by administration.

Required profile

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications for documentation and communication.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
