Physical Therapist PRN – Acute Care

About the role

The Physical Therapist PRN provides acute‑care physical therapy services on an as‑needed basis at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports the rehabilitation therapy team in delivering patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatments to acute‑care patients according to physician orders.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Document all services accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees and graduate assistants) applying through Workday.
• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
