Physical Security Program Manager

About the role

Trupanion is seeking a Physical Security Program Manager to lead and execute security strategies for its Seattle headquarters, North Vancouver office, and the 6100 Building. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you will ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and assets across all physical locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain a comprehensive physical security program for multiple Trupanion sites.
• Oversee on‑site security vendors, CCTV systems, and alarm monitoring services.
• Conduct risk and threat assessments, define KPIs, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Manage vendor contracts, review invoices, and maintain relationships with security service providers.
• Coordinate access control programs for employees, visitors, contractors, and loaner badges.
• Provide on‑call support for after‑hours security incidents at the 6100 Building and other offices.
• Collaborate with the UK office team to align security practices globally.
• Prepare and manage the annual security program budget.

Required profile

• Experience developing and implementing physical security programs in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation solutions.
• Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Willingness to be on‑call for after‑hours security incidents.
• Ability to work closely with facilities leadership and cross‑regional teams.
