Physical Security Consultant

About the role

The Physical Security Consultant will lead end‑to‑end delivery of security projects, ensuring designs meet business requirements and are executed on schedule. This is a 100% onsite position working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and intake physical security project assessments from business stakeholders.
• Manage the full project workflow: mobilization, design coordination, installation, commissioning, and handover to security operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, tracking progress across multiple parties.
• Prepare programming sheets and technical inputs for security programmers and system administrators.
• Close out projects using commissioning documentation, acceptance criteria, and KPIs.
• Provide regular status reporting, risk escalation, and mitigation recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure aligned execution and timely delivery.
• Track material allocation, installation sequencing, and vendor deliverables.
• Support budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with security design standards and assess designs for scalability and sustainability.

Required profile

• Professional with strong domain expertise in physical security project management.
• In‑depth knowledge of security technologies and awareness of security operations.
• Familiarity with industry‑standard access control, video management, and integrated security platforms.
• Ability to anticipate business, regulatory, and operational risks and recommend improvements.
• Experience leading moderate to high‑complexity security projects and influencing cross‑functional teams.
