Phlebotomist II – Full‑time, Palestine, TX

About the role

The Phlebotomist II will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM in Palestine, TX, collecting a variety of specimens and supporting laboratory operations. This full‑time position offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Collect specimens for drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Administer oral solutions following established training.
• Verify and process written and electronic orders using lab technology systems.
• Enter patient identification, billing information, and payments accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Maintain inventory, sanitize work areas, handle phone and email communications, and file documentation.
• Complete required logs (maintenance, temperature) and assist with statistical reporting.
• Finish online and in‑person training courses on schedule.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of phlebotomy experience, covering pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Proficiency with computer navigation and data entry.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on‑call, or overtime as staffing needs dictate.
