Pharmacy Technician - Floater

About the role

NeoMed Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Floater to support multiple pharmacy locations across Gurabo, San Lorenzo, and Trujillo Alto. The role involves assisting pharmacists in the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications and medical devices while ensuring consistent service quality across all sites.

Key responsibilities

• Cover shifts and absences in the organization’s pharmacies, maintaining continuity of service.
• Process prescriptions, perform pharmaceutical calculations, and verify patient information.
• Enter patient data into electronic systems, handle billing transactions, and manage pre‑authorizations with insurance plans.
• Validate medication labels and ensure compliance with regulatory and programmatic criteria.
• Support training of new technicians or support staff as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician or equivalent certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours across multiple locations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish.
