About the role

Join Shields Health Solutions as a Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Liaison in Bronx, NY. In this onsite position you will work within a hospital clinic or office building, helping patients adhere to medication regimens and delivering personalized pharmacy services as part of a specialty pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide hands‑on patient care and medication counseling.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services and process both specialty and retail prescriptions.
• Issue refill reminders, resolve insurance issues, and assist with financial assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• CPhT or ExCPT certification.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and technology aptitude.
• Empathy, integrity and a team‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
