About the role

Mountains Community Hospital is looking for a detail‑oriented Pharmacy Technician to support safe and efficient medication services on 12‑hour shifts.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and distribute medications, including sterile IV compounds, under pharmacist supervision.
Restock Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets, crash carts, and manage medication inventory.
Maintain compliance with USP <797> sterile compounding standards.
Assist with outpatient prescription processing and medication packaging.
Monitor inventory, expiration dates, recalls, and temperature logs.

Required profile

Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Required skills

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) – preferred.
Experience with sterile IV compounding, Pyxis, and unit‑dose medication preparation – preferred.
