About the role
The Pharmacy Resident will join the UAMS College of Pharmacy to complete a postgraduate residency program, gaining advanced clinical experience in a teaching hospital environment. This role provides hands‑on training in patient care, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in direct patient care activities under supervision of licensed pharmacists.
- Conduct medication therapy reviews and contribute to treatment plans.
- Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and case discussions.
- Complete required residency rotations across various pharmacy practice areas.
- Document clinical interventions and outcomes.
Required profile
- Pharm.D. degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- Eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist in the United States.
- Strong interest in clinical pharmacy and patient‑centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
