Pharmacy Refill Specialist – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

Harbor Health is looking for a collaborative Pharmacy Refill Specialist to support its multi‑specialty clinic model in Austin, TX. Working remotely, you will partner with the pharmacy and clinical teams to monitor medication adherence, engage members and caregivers, and help demonstrate meaningful health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Interview members or family members to document newly prescribed medications, adherence status, side effects, and barriers.
• Triage medication information and relay relevant details to clinical staff.
• Partner with the Pharmacy Director and IT staff to design and refine data‑gathering workflows, both manual and technology‑driven.
• Collect data and develop metrics that illustrate medication initiation and adherence outcomes.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum five years of retail or hospital experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills with members and caregivers.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize shifting tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
