About the role

This temporary, fixed‑term position is for a student employee who will work as a Pharmacy Intern in the inpatient pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The role supports clinical staff in delivering medication therapy to hospitalized patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the inpatient pharmacy team with medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution.
• Support medication safety checks and documentation processes.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of medications.

Required profile

• Current student of the University of Arkansas System or eligible graduate assistant.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work varying shifts as needed.
