About the role

Join the pharmacy team at a leading academic health system in Waltham, MA. The Pharmacist will optimize drug therapy, resolve medication‑related problems, and support therapeutic outcomes while adhering to state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery of pharmacy services across multiple units.
• Supervise and verify the work of support personnel during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with formulary management, target‑drug programs, and adverse drug event monitoring.
• Document clinical interventions, medication errors, and adverse events.
• Participate in department quality‑improvement initiatives and follow all regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license; Controlled Substances Registration preferred.
• 2–3 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of collaborative drug therapy management agreements (CDTM) is a plus.
