Pharmacist – In‑Office (Templeton, CA)

About the role

Join a long‑standing acute‑care facility in Templeton, CA as an in‑office pharmacist. You will work alongside a team of technicians and pharmacists to ensure safe, effective medication therapy for patients across multiple specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Process, verify, and dispense medication orders in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient medication therapies, provide drug information, and identify potential safety hazards.
• Document all interventions for medical review and supervise pharmacy support personnel.
• Participate in clinical rounds, unit‑based medication management, and remote order verification.
• Perform IV compounding and support IV techs as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate of a pharmacy school (PharmD preferred).
• Current pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Experience with inpatient clinical pharmacy settings is preferred.
• Ability to work variable 10‑hour shifts, including weekends and on‑call coverage.
