Pharmacist-in-Charge – Full‑time Clinic Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacist-in-Charge will lead the pharmacy team at the Triangle Area Network Healthcare Center, ensuring safe, high‑quality medication dispensing and exceptional patient care in a clinic setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and proper storage of drugs and supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription incompatibility issues.
• Direct workflow efficiency and mentor pharmacy staff.
• Stay current on changing laws, regulations, and pharmacy programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Uphold a clean, customer‑friendly environment and professional appearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or PharmD degree from an accredited university.
• Pharmacist license in good standing in Texas.
• 2+ years of full‑time retail or clinic pharmacy experience; PIC experience preferred.
• Experience with 340B programs and AAHIVP certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, managerial and communication skills.

Required skills

• Pharmacy dispensing and medication inventory management.
• HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program.
• AAHIVP certification (preferred).
