Pharmacist-in-Charge – Full-time

About the role

The Pharmacist-in-Charge leads the pharmacy team at Pineapple Healthcare Clinic, ensuring safe dispensing and high‑quality patient care. This full‑time, Monday‑Friday position offers a balanced schedule with no nights or weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations and maintain high quality pharmaceutical services.
• Foster business growth and control pharmacy expenses.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Dispense, order, and maintain inventory of drugs and supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians on prescription incompatibility issues.
• Direct pharmacy activities, manage workflow efficiency, and supervise staff.
• Stay updated on changing laws, regulations, and pharmacy programs.
• Consult with clinic providers and administrators to support patient care and efficient operations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Uphold a clean, customer‑friendly workplace and professional appearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Doctoral (PharmD) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university.
• Pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Florida.
• 2+ years full‑time retail or clinic pharmacy experience (Pharmacist‑in‑Charge experience preferred).
• 340B program experience (preferred).
• AAHIVP certification (preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, customer‑service, managerial, and communication skills.
• Proactive self‑starter with strong initiative and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and manage pharmacy staff.
• Availability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.
