Pharmacist – Full‑time, On‑site in Houston

About the role

Elite Rx Solutions is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join its Houston team. The role focuses on safe medication dispensing, patient counseling, and supporting consulting projects that improve pharmacy operations for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Review patient medication profiles for interactions, contraindications, and provide clear counseling on usage, side effects, and adherence.
• Collaborate with prescribers and multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapy outcomes.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, controlled‑substance records, and support quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and loss prevention.
• Contribute data and documentation for consulting engagements and operational improvement projects.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Texas pharmacist license (PharmD or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug interactions, and patient counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy regulations and controlled‑substance handling.
• Experience in community, hospital, or health‑system pharmacy settings; consulting or quality‑improvement exposure is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a consulting‑oriented environment.
