About the role

Guardian Pharmacy of Columbus is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join its fast‑growing long‑term care pharmacy team in Columbus, Ohio. You will play a critical role in delivering customized medication management solutions for seniors and individuals with complex care needs.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications, including order entry, filling, packaging, and final verification.
• Review prescriptions for legality, patient allergies, drug incompatibilities, and refill limits.
• Interpret orders and exercise professional judgment to ensure patient safety and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Compounding as needed and transferring prescriptions to other pharmacies.
• Answer inquiries from patients, physicians, and nursing staff.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and identify cost‑effective alternatives for exception items.
