Pharmaceutical Lab Technician (Overnight)

About the role

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Pharmaceutical Lab Technician supporting the world’s largest PET radiopharmaceutical network. This primarily overnight position involves the synthesis, quality control, packaging, and logistics of radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging and therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Operate chemistry instruments (HPLC, GC, TLC) and advanced systems such as cyclotrons for routine manufacturing and quality control.
• Author and maintain precise documentation for manufacturing, quality control, preventive maintenance, and deviations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of critical analytical equipment.
• Prepare products for shipment, coordinate courier logistics, and provide customer support.
• Maintain aseptic cleanroom environments and conduct regular environmental monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with strict safety, sterile‑environment, and regulatory standards for radioactive materials.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training or certification may be required.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and rotate to alternative shifts as needed.
• Physical ability to work in a fast‑paced lab and lift up to 100 lb.
• Readiness to work overtime when required.

Required skills

• Operation of HPLC, GC, TLC, and cyclotron equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
• Cleanroom aseptic techniques and environmental monitoring.
• Accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
