About the role

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its Molecular Imaging & Therapy Service. The role focuses on performing PET and other nuclear medicine procedures that support cutting‑edge cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict safety and accuracy standards.
• Acquire high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring an excellent patient experience.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, providing clear education and reassurance.
• Maintain imaging equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and radiation‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma from an NMTCB or ARRT(R)‑approved radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT(N) or CNMT certification.
• CT certification and a valid New York State license.
• Graduation from an approved radiography program.
• Academic hospital experience preferred.
