Personal Lines Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, service‑driven Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing insurance agency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and enjoys building strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service by answering policy questions, explaining coverage, and handling service requests.
• Review and process daily account activity, including policy changes, claims notices, auto ID cards, MVR orders, and certificates.
• Prepare renewal summaries, mail renewal letters, and update renewal data in the agency management system.
• Quote personal lines coverage with multiple carriers and process evidence of insurance.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure consistency of data within the agency management system.
• Complete additional assigned duties promptly and efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a personal lines insurance agency role.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Prior experience with an independent insurance agency.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.

Required skills

• Applied Systems agency management software (preferred).
• Microsoft Office Suite.
