Permit Coordinator – Residential Window & Door Projects

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Permit Coordinator to join our award‑winning home remodeling team. You will manage the permitting process for residential window and door projects, ensuring they move efficiently through municipal approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit permit applications for residential window and door projects.
• Coordinate permitting requirements with municipalities, building departments, and local authorities.
• Track permit applications from initial submission through final approval and monitor deadlines.
• Follow up with municipalities on outstanding applications, corrections, approvals, and inspections.
• Review project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Identify missing information that could delay permitting and obtain required documents from Sales, Project Management, Installation, and Operations teams.
• Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, corrections, and inspections.
• Communicate permit status and potential delays to internal teams.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure proper documentation of inspection requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide additional administrative assistance to the Operations team as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with municipal permitting systems.
