About the role
The Central Sterile Technician supports surgical and other departments by supplying sterile instruments, linens, and equipment safely, timely, and efficiently. This position aligns with Kingman Healthcare’s vision to be a kind, high‑quality health system.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming supplies and equipment.
- Perform cleaning and sterilizing duties.
- Prepare packs of supplies, linens, and instruments as directed.
- Issue and distribute supplies and equipment based on determined levels.
- Maintain required records and statistics and perform weekly quality assurance.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned and other areas in Central Sterile.
- Attend surgery department meetings or in‑services as required.
- Identify situations and apply established procedures to correct them calmly and efficiently.
Required profile
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
