People & Talent Specialist

About the role

Profluent, a frontier AI lab focused on biology, is seeking a People & Talent Specialist to support both Talent Acquisition and People Operations. This hands‑on, high‑impact position splits time between recruiting top talent and ensuring smooth HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, managing communication and logistics from interview to pre‑hire.
• Coordinate full‑cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including intake meetings, job postings, interview scheduling across time zones, and offer support.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Greenhouse and provide regular pipeline reporting.
• Support employer branding through careers page content, job description quality, and recruiting events.
• Track recruiting metrics (time‑to‑fill, offer‑acceptance rate) and suggest improvements.
• Own new‑hire onboarding logistics: background checks, I‑9/E‑Verify, equipment setup, and first‑week scheduling.
• Maintain employee data in Rippling and process lifecycle changes (hires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
• Assist with benefits administration, compliance postings, policy acknowledgments, and employment‑law recordkeeping.
• Help administer people programs such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and recognition initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in full‑cycle talent acquisition and people operations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate interviews across different time zones.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for HRIS data integrity.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as I‑9/E‑Verify and benefits administration.
