People Business Partner, Commercial and Operations

About the role

The People Business Partner, Commercial and Operations serves as the primary HR liaison for employees and managers at the Senior Director level and below across Marketing, Sales, and Operations. You will translate People & Culture strategy into everyday practice, embed the O'Farm culture, and support performance management, learning, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with managers, coaching on leadership effectiveness, team health, and organizational design.
• Provide workforce planning inputs and convey business needs to the People & Culture Center of Excellence.
• Operationalize culture initiatives—including DEI, engagement, and recognition—within client groups.
• Own the performance management cycle for Sr. Director and below, guiding reviews, calibrations, and pay‑for‑performance conversations.
• Handle early‑stage employee interventions, conflict resolution, policy guidance, and informal investigations; escalate high‑risk matters to HR Operations and Legal.
• Partner with Learning & Development to identify development needs and co‑facilitate targeted programs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on role intake, interview calibration, and offer alignment.
• Work with HR Operations to support lifecycle transactions and address HRIS data issues.

Required profile

• Strong connector with intuition for organizational dynamics, preferably with experience in fast‑moving consumer‑packaged goods.
• Ability to balance strategic clarity with genuine humanity, helping others find their seat at the table.
• Excellent communication, discretion, and coaching skills.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms.
