Pediatric Hospitalist – Full‑Time Inpatient

About the role

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic is seeking a board‑certified/eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join its inpatient team in Tyler, Texas. This full‑time, 100% inpatient position works within a physician‑led, faith‑based organization that emphasizes quality care, community well‑being, and work‑life balance supported by AI‑integrated tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for 8‑10 pediatric patients and up to 20 newborns per shift.
• Work 24‑hour on‑call shifts (approximately ten per month) in a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU.
• Document and coordinate care using Epic EMR in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate daily with two experienced physicians and two APCs.
• Utilize AI‑driven resources to streamline documentation and enhance patient care.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible pediatrician with hospitalist experience.
• Dynamic, team‑oriented professional comfortable in a fast‑paced inpatient environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR.
