Pediatric Dental Assistant

About the role

Join Lumio Dental, a partnership dedicated to preserving private‑practice integrity, and provide chairside care for pediatric patients across Oklahoma and surrounding states. You will work closely with dentists in a supportive, fun culture.

Key responsibilities

• Expose digital diagnostic X‑rays and record clinical findings.
• Take and record medical and dental histories, vital signs, and assist with procedures such as fluoride varnish, sealants, SDF, and stainless‑steel crown placement.
• Assist chairside with nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and general‑anesthesia cases, using behavior‑guidance techniques.
• Maintain cleaning schedules, prepare study casts, and support consults for tongue and lip ties.

Required profile

• Warm, friendly demeanor toward patients of all ages.
• Comfortable working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with dentists and delivering exceptional chairside care.

Required skills

• Digital diagnostic X‑ray operation.
• Fluoride varnish, sealant, and SDF application.
• Use of nitrous oxide and IV sedation assistance.
• General anesthesia case support.
• Cementing stainless‑steel crowns and space maintainers.
