Payroll Manager

About the role

Bitdeer is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end‑to‑end payroll operations across multiple pay groups and locations. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while serving as the primary ADP subject‑matter expert.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Administer ADP system configuration, earning and deduction codes, and integrations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax requirements.
• Oversee payroll tax filings, reconciliations, year‑end processes, and W‑2 distribution.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting on hires, terminations, compensation changes, and bonuses.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and reports for month‑end close and audits.
• Develop and improve payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Lead, train, and mentor payroll team members as the function scales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including full‑cycle processing and tax compliance.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with ADP payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑state payroll regulations and tax requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
• Preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification and Mandarin language ability.
