Payment Posting Specialist

About the role

Camber is seeking a mission‑driven Payment Posting Specialist to join its billing team. You will focus on posting remittance payments, analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and ensuring accurate revenue cycle management for commercial and Medicaid plans, especially in the autism space.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze EOBs and post manual payments accurately.
• Identify and resolve payer payment posting issues.
• Correct payment posting errors and investigate claim discrepancies, denials, or missing payments.
• Research payer portals to determine claim status and root causes of delays.
• Contact commercial insurance carriers and government payers to resolve delayed or unpaid claims.
• Monitor payer trends, document all payment‑related activities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams via live Zoom meetings.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management and billing for commercial and Medicaid plans.
• Ability to interpret EOBs, ERAs, claim statuses, and insurance payment information.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with commercial and government payor portals and knowledge of denials and corrections.
• Minimum availability of 40 hours/week during core business hours and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
