Patient Services Representative

About the role

Join the Seldovia Village Tribe (SVT) team as a Patient Services Representative, providing high‑quality service to patients and supporting the administrative functions of SVT Health & Wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, coordinate registration, schedule appointments, and handle cashiering.
• Communicate clearly with patients both in person and over the phone.
• Manage provider schedules and patient flow, updating files and accounts as needed.
• Maintain strict HIPAA confidentiality and protect medical and dental records.
• Attend meetings and trainings on medical/dental office administration, billing, and coding.
• Travel on a two‑week rotation to other communities by small aircraft or boat, with possible overnight stays.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (minimum).
• 1+ years experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast‑paced health‑care environment.
• Capability to operate general office equipment and count money.
• Willingness to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background check and fingerprinting.
