Patient Services Liaison – SUSL Surgery Clinic

About the role

The Patient Services Liaison supports patients and families at the SUSL Surgery Clinic, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of care. This position works within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences health system and contributes to a patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, answering questions and guiding them through clinic processes.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow‑up care with clinical staff and external providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health system.
• Assist with patient intake, documentation, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and administrative teams to resolve patient concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee or student eligible to work in the United States.
