About the role
The College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking a Patient Services Associate to join its Clinical Affairs department in Dallas. This on‑site position provides front‑line support to patients, handling appointment scheduling, check‑ins, and record maintenance in a high‑volume dental environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify appointments, and manage check‑in procedures.
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments using the clinic’s system.
- Maintain accurate patient records and statistical reports in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate a multi‑line phone system to field calls and direct inquiries.
- Assist with general office duties, including handling cash transactions when required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- At least two years of experience in a general office or customer‑service setting.
- Professional demeanor with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with word‑processing applications.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet applications.
- Experience using a multi‑line telephone system.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $19.56.
- Standard Monday‑Friday schedule, 8 am – 5 pm.
- On‑site work in Dallas, Texas.
