About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will support the Northwest Arkansas Orthopedic team by delivering direct patient care in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Working under the supervision of nursing staff, the PCT ensures patients receive safe, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities, positioning, and mobility during orthopedic procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs, collect specimens, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Document patient interactions and observations accurately in the medical record.
- Support nursing and physician staff with clinical tasks as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Ability to work in a clinical setting and follow infection‑control protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
