About the role
The Patient Care Technician will support the Neuroscience Clinics by providing direct patient care and assisting clinical staff in a fast‑paced environment. This position ensures patients receive high‑quality care before, during, and after their appointments.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including positioning and equipment setup.
- Monitor and record vital signs, neurological observations, and other clinical data.
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care tasks such as transfers, ambulation, and basic wound care.
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, adhering to infection‑control protocols.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
Required profile
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant patient‑care certification preferred.
- Ability to work day shifts in an onsite clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
