Patient Care Coordinator – Eagan, MN

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for families visiting the Children’s Therapy Center in Eagan. You will ensure smooth scheduling of occupational, speech, and physical therapy services while providing a welcoming front‑desk experience.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and track productivity for occupational, speech, and physical therapists.
• Coordinate patient evaluations, ongoing therapy appointments, and verify insurance coverage before services are rendered.
• Greet patients, manage check‑ins/outs, answer phone inquiries, and use EHR software for appointment scheduling and documentation.
• Secure medical documentation such as treatment recommendations, diagnosis codes, and doctor’s orders to enable timely claims processing.
• Oversee administrative tasks including filing, inventory management, therapist productivity tracking, and supply purchasing.
• Perform end‑of‑day duties such as cleaning, securing the facility, and supporting team morale initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with at least 1 year of experience in customer service, administration, healthcare insurance, or medical billing.
• Ability to work onsite in Eagan, MN on four 10‑hour shifts per week between 7:30 am‑6:30 pm CST.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software for scheduling and documentation.
