Patient Care Contractor – Neurologist

About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a qualified neurologist to join its patient care team on a contractor basis. This position involves delivering comprehensive neurological evaluations and treatments to patients within the university’s clinical setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough neurological examinations and diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient encounters in compliance with institutional policies.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Required profile
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completed Neurology residency program.
- 2–3 years of post‑residency clinical experience in neurology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the United States.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.
