Patient Access Representative – Imaging (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Patient Access Representative works in the Imaging department to ensure a smooth registration experience for patients. The role involves verifying benefits, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate electronic health records while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service, answer calls, assist patients and staff, and refer complex financial questions to counselors.
• Pre‑register, register, schedule, reschedule, and discharge patients; verify insurance eligibility, obtain pre‑authorizations, and collect co‑pays.
• Balance daily cash, complete cash logs, prepare bank deposits, and reconcile accounts in the EHR system.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent (official transcript required).
• At least 1 year of customer‑service or office experience.
• Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work and manage time efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with phone systems and computer hardware/software.
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and insurance eligibility tools.
• Accurate data‑entry and record‑management capabilities.
