Patent Agent / Technical Advisor – Multiple Offices

About the role

The Technical Advisor/Patent Agent will join the Patent Prosecution Group, receiving on‑the‑job training in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. No prior intellectual‑property experience is required, and the role offers the chance to develop writing and client‑interaction skills while leveraging your technical background. The position is subject to export control laws and includes mentoring and structured training to accelerate professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for innovative technologies.
• Prepare detailed descriptions, figures, analyses, and related materials for inventions.
• Collaborate with patent attorneys and agents to secure patents for client innovations.
• Learn about cutting‑edge technological innovations and apply technical acumen to patent matters.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in a technical field is strongly preferred.
• Junior patent agents (1‑2 years experience) or candidates who have passed the registration exam but lack practical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to learn about cutting‑edge technologies and work with leading technology companies.
• Ability to comply with export control regulations.
