Passenger Services Operations Agent - Bilingual (English/Spanish)

About the role

Swissport, a global leader in ground handling, cargo handling and passenger services, is hiring a part-time Operations Agent in Phoenix, Arizona. The agent manages and performs weight and balance functions in line with aircraft specifications, limitations, safety procedures and standards. The expected pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ramp offload and loading activities, crew wake-up and pick-up times, and fueling activities with fuelers
• Prepare flight documents such as flight plans, weather briefings and NOTAMs, and flight messages including arrival, departure and load messages
• Send LDM and CPM messages according to carrier standards and report required information to flight dispatch
• Complete load planning for cargo and baggage, prepare NOTOCs and weight and balance load sheets and trim data, and coordinate with centralized load control
• Verify baggage reconciliation before departure and coordinate passenger boarding with cabin and flight crew
• Post-flight review of the flight folder, liaison with catering companies, and act as Account Supervisor when the supervisor is absent

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Aircraft Dispatcher License
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• At least six months of experience
• Effective verbal and written communication and customer relations skills
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
