About the role

The Georgia Visitor Information Center in West Point is seeking enthusiastic part‑time specialists to welcome and assist travelers. You will be the first point of contact for visitors exploring Georgia’s attractions, providing friendly service and reliable information.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors and answer questions about local events, attractions, lodging, and services.
• Assist travelers in planning routes, locating accommodations, and finding mechanical, medical, or other essential services.
• Maintain the visitor center’s appearance, including moving boxes up to 25 lb and standing for extended periods.
• Work flexible hours, typically 1–2 days per week, including weekends and weekdays as needed.

• Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lb and stand for long periods.
