Part‑Time Teller (Wellesley, MA)

About the role

Santander is seeking a part‑time teller to join its Wellesley branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering fast, accurate service while supporting the bank’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer appropriate products.
• Use digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Provide support to nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology.
• Energetic, organized and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
