Part‑Time Teller – Ashland, MA

About the role

Join Santander’s Ashland branch as a part‑time teller, providing front‑line banking services to customers. You’ll be the first point of contact, handling transactions and delivering a high level of service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other banking needs.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and process cash transactions securely.
• Adhere to bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell products and educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks as required.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, and assist nearby branches when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fundamental math skills.
