About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part‑time, limited‑term faculty to teach Technical Communication within its Department of English. The position supports the university’s mission to provide high‑impact, student‑centered education across its two metro‑Atlanta campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Technical Communication courses on a part‑time, limited‑term basis.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental standards.
• Contribute to the department’s core programs, including First‑Year Composition and General Education Literature, as needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, and departmental service activities.
• Engage with high‑impact practices such as mentored research, community‑engaged learning, and internships.
• Collaborate with faculty across English, English Education, and Professional Writing programs.

Required profile

• Background in Technical Communication or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
