Part‑Time Tailor – Retail Store (SoHo, New York)

About the role

Levi's® Retail in SoHo is seeking a part‑time Tailor to deliver high‑quality alteration services and exceptional customer experiences. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will work directly with shoppers, helping them achieve the perfect fit for denim and other apparel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic alterations such as hemming, patching, repairing, and tapering.
• Execute technical tailoring tasks that require specialized equipment, including fitting non‑jean items.
• Resolve customer concerns related to tailoring in line with company policy.
• Train store staff on tailoring services and promote Levi’s loyalty programs.
• Handle cash and merchandise transactions for the Tailor Shop according to store procedures.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of denim trends and the broader fashion landscape.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric attitude.
