About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent or disabled across multiple units at Mountains Community Hospital, including the Emergency Department, Medical‑Surgical Unit, Peri‑operative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility. The position includes night‑shift hours and on‑call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

Deliver nursing care and administer treatments in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act.
Rotate between Emergency Services, Medical‑Surgical, Peri‑operative and Skilled Nursing units as needed, including night‑shift coverage and on‑call duties.

Required profile

Associate’s degree in Nursing (AA) or equivalent from an accredited program.
Current California RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire and basic arrhythmia certification within six months.
