About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part‑time, limited‑term faculty to teach First‑Year Composition in the Department of English. This position supports the university’s mission to provide high‑impact, student‑centered learning for a diverse undergraduate population.

Key responsibilities

• Teach First‑Year Composition courses, delivering lectures, workshops, and writing conferences.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or MFA) in English, Rhetoric, Composition, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching composition or related writing courses at the college level.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
