About the role

The Georgia Regional Hospital Services (GRHS) is seeking a Part‑Time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients in Savannah, GA. This hourly position offers flexible shift options and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the health of Georgia residents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent or disabled patients.
• Administer medications, injections, and intravenous fluids, documenting times and dosages.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility, and positioning.
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform wound care, treat bedsores, give enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, massages, and catheterizations.
• Document food and fluid intake and output.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition, including adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with the health‑care team to assess needs, plan care, and implement interventions.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Georgia or a multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact license.
• Successful completion of a state‑required background check.
• Ability to work 29 average hours per week on rotating day or night shifts.
• Experience in an adult mental health care setting is a plus but not mandatory.
