About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a reliable Part‑Time Forklift Operator to join its Carson, CA service center. You will move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed dock, supporting our fast‑paced logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from trailers up to 53’ long.
- Handle various types of freight while maintaining safety standards.
- Read and follow manifests and computer‑display instructions.
- Maintain good attendance and work collaboratively with the team.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
